Can you import the file at
http://www.gnewsense.org/~kgoetz/updated-gns-build-key.gpg . I think
something like this should do it:

 wget http://www.gnewsense.org/~kgoetz/updated-gns-build-key.gpg
 apt-key add updated-gns-build-key.gpg

And let me know what happens.
If it updates the key to be valid I'll include it in the next set of
updates.

(ftr, I failed to reproduce this problem on a 2.2 livecd :/)
