When will gNewSense be able to use the new ext4 filesystem?

I won't be bothering to "make it go", what kernel does it appear in? It
might already be supported in mipsel.

(Reading WP [1]:)
Linux 2.6.28 was the first vanilla kernel with stable ext4. Mipsel has 2.6.32.x now, so no problem there. i386 has 2.6.26 with experimental support compiled in, if I'm reading the config file right. I don't know how close that is to stable. Both mipsel and i386 include mkfs.ext4 already.

As for bootloaders: it looks like GRUB2 has support for ext4 [2]. I'm not sure about PMON2000: WP says that ext4 can be mounted as ext3, but I believe PMON2000 only supports ext2. That means /boot should stay ext3 for the time being.

The (mipsel) installer doesn't provide ext4 yet, afaik.
