Hey list. I planned to investigate this one, but looks like it has been solved in Debian (there's no updated packages in Squeeze though). I've seen Karl was very active on the front discussing this problem with Debian people and he probably knows more details, so hopefully he'll fill the gaps.
Here is what I found about this case: * problem can be solved using sha1 implementation from the OpenSSL project; * upstream developers don't want to force people to link against OpenSSL libraries (there is "won't fix" status set on this bugreport in upstream bts); * Debian folks modified the sources and they have 5.2.6+dfsg in Wheezy. Has anyone (Karl?) worked or still works on the "liberated" bacula package? If not, I can take care of this and "port" the patch from Debian testing to gNewSense. -- Marek Buras cyfr0n (at) go2.pl _______________________________________________ gNewSense-dev mailing list gNewSense-dev@nongnu.org https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnewsense-dev
