I'm using gNewSense Ucclia, but I change source.list and add Ucclia
respository. Gnome-shell is cool :)
Thanks for it.
Hello All
Congratulations on the alpha release!
What is the web address and directory path I need to put in the
installer to install ucclia? I'm using the 64 bit mini.iso with an
'advanced install'. The installer wants a domain (I'm guessing the
repository type is http then the domain is beta.gnewsense.org) and a
subdirectory (I've been trying variations on /gnewsense/dist/ucclia
and getting errors)
If I just use installer defaults, I end up with gNewSense 3.x files
from a UK mirror.
Sorry for noise, I'm answering my own question here. When the installer
asks about mirrors, I chose
ht for http protocol
I used the following domain
beta.gnewsense.org
then the following directory
gnewsense
the installer then found a list of the distributions available (in this
case just one, ucclia)
and I chose ucclia
Seems to be working. I did poke around the mirrors nearer the UK but
could not find a beta mirror, just the 3.x ones.
Cheers
