What was the exact patch you have applied? From our last observations, compiling --with-system-libvpx could be a workaround when you backport libvpx. This failed till now. Have you already tried libvpx_1.4.0-4.dsc? Also afair GCC needs to be patched: https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=50380 So the next steps would be to try to build latest libvpx to check if gcc patches are still required. If they are required, we need to apply them and rebuild the whole stuff.
