Sadly, nothing you can, I think. It has to be handled by admins.
However, you can do one thing: visit gnewsense.org, and test the loading
speed of some pages and compare it with that of the homepage. Our goal
is to test whether the site is irresponsive now.

We had replaced the original homepage of gnewsense.org
<http://gnewsense.org> with the lightweight version I prepared.
This was because the site was being too sluggish with the main
CMS. Are we ready for a switch yet?
