Hi Chris,I've almost finished writing the KFV_SummaryTable.pl script that parses the http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Kernel/Image table and updates it. I also modified the PFV_info.pl script of Markus to have the KPFV_info.pl, which can do stats for the PFV (Main and Universe - by Markus) and for the KFV (after having updated the table at http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Kernel/Image with the KFV_SummaryTable.pl script).
The KFV_SummaryTable.pl is still lacking a 'non-free software reported' column completion, as I don't know how to decide what to write in it.
Results can be seen on http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Kernel/Image, remember this is just a preview and should not be trusted until we decide which version of the kernel we have to check. Then, we'll have to update all the links and pages relative to KFV, and, at this moment, the scripts output will be reliable.
I think that when the kernel version to check will be chosen, we shouldn't change the link anymore until KFV is complete. This way, all checkers will check the same version of the kernel. After the KFV, we'll have to write a script to compare the differences between the one we checked and the latest version in hardy.Anyone know whether it is possible to run a link checking script on a daily basis, to avoid this happening again (or at least enabling us to notice it has happened)? I know there used to be a Perl script that did this.
Don't hesitate to send me your comments and modifications if any, Thanks, Christophe
