This is interesting. I strange thing I found is this. I own a Lenovo Thinkpad R60 with Intel Wifi 3945 chipset. It is not supported in gNewSense because it needs a proprietary firmware to function. If I install Ubuntu 8.10, my wifi functions but there is no proprietary driver listed on the "Driver Hardware" windows of Ubuntu. - -- Graziano Sorbaioli -- www.sorbaioli.org ======================================================================== Join the Free Software Foundation: http://www.fsf.org/jf?referrer=7201 Supporters will receive our new USB membership card with gNewSense Live -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAklxnLcACgkQTtn97LA90HOeOQCgij5s15Y8OhB1HsbWPz0VAsWs a+sAoMw2xNmFU9EZGNScND1ZLBTMOdnS =hZct -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ gNewSense-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/gnewsense-users
