Ben,

Do whatever you want with the code but do NOT put the restrictive GPL license
on it.

Subject: texfont.C and texfont.h license

* PGP Signed by an unknown key

Dear M. Kilgard,

the package boinc, which is contained in the gNewSense (gNS) [1]
GNU/Linux distribution, includes two files
texfont.C
and
texfont.h
written and copyrighted by you (see [2] for bug report).

The license you distribute your software under is nonfree in the
definition of the Free Software Foundation. This means that your files
would have to be removed from gNS, since gNS aims to be a free distribution.

Before removal I would like to kindly ask you if it'd be possible to you
to distribute the files under a license which allows modification and
distribution of modified versions of your files. This would enable the
gNS developers to keep distributing the package.

Kind regards
Benedikt Ahrens
