the source code seems to be licensed under the terms os GNU GPLv2 but binaries have some license "restrictions": <quote>The license of Songbird's binary is the GPL Version 2. This license does not grant you permission to use any of our trademarks such as the name Songbird, our logos, and our skins feathers. We may release the Songbird binary under a different license in the future but we plan to keep the vast majority, if not all, of our source code available under a GPL license.</quote> see: http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/Docs/Licensing_FAQ > BTW, If I successfully convert him, six persons will be using > GNU/Linux (more precisely gNewSense or Ubuntu when I fail to install > gNewSense), which means more than 10% of people are using GNU/Linux in > my department :-) just remember ubuntu ISN NOT a 100% free software distribution see: http://www.gnu.org/distros/free-distros.html regards al3xu5 / dotcommon -- Support free software!
