[gNewSense-users] Booting into chroot environment

I've used debootstrap to create a metad system and would like to "boot" 
into it.  Can that be done without setting up something with boot.cfg or 
grub and then enter on cold / warm boot?

        debootstrap metad /mnt/ \
         http://archive.gnewsense.org/gnewsense-metad/gnewsense/
Chroot works fine, but leaves the old system and drives running.
