Worse than just developing proprietary software, they are implementing DRM - Digital Restrictions Management. See: www.defectivebydesign.org So the answer is: It won't run on anything but Windows. But you shouldn't run this. It's worse than just a proprietary tool, it's a proprietary tool with DRM. And the more people running this the more people will feel pressure to run this.
