> How can metad be set to boot faster?

Hello,

I don't use grub and I bypass the boot.cfg file completely, which speeds up
boot time a lot. Pmon gives a warning that boot.cfg cannot be found and it is
resorting to the default settings. So far this hasn't caused me any problems!

Set the al and karg variables in pmon, if I recall it is something like:

load (wd0,0)/boot/vmlinux-2.6.31.67-libre-lemote
initrd (wd0,0)/boot/initrd.img-2.6.37-libre-lemote
set al (wd0,0)/boot/vmlinux-2.6.37-libre-lemote
set karg "console=tty no_auto_cmd root=/dev/sda1 resume=/dev/sda2 rootdelay=8"
