ok - i'll try icecat 3.6.n once again with this patch
how about icecat 4.0.1 - i won't use defaults anyway because there are several things i want to disable, but what would be the modifications to the .mozconfig to make it build on loongson 2f ?

You can build IceCat 3.6.x on Yeeloong with the patch (attachement) on https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=528687. But AFAIK, you won't be able to build 4.x on Yeeloong with the default .mozconfig.
