1.  Thank you for your attention to this problem.  In answer to your
question:

"I would recommend removing the printer driver and re-installing using our
install utility that will automate the download/install process. You may
access this installation utility at the following location:

"

3.  I ran it by following the instructions that were provided with the
installation utility's web page.  It executed completely and without any
error messages.
