  For *a* domain?  $17.  That's what DomainMonger charges to register one.

  For a *particular* domain?  Ah, well, that depends entirely on how much it
is worth to the buyer.  If your buyer is just a local startup company, it
may only be worth a few hundred.  If, on the other hand, if Microsoft wants
to release Microsoft Visual Virtual Builder next month, it might be worth
quite a bit more....
