Alright.. I just finished my install on my Thinkpad 600.. This was with RH7.3
Video was autoprobed, always good.. Wireless networking needed one thing added to the modules.conf.. options orinoco_cs ignore_cis_vcc=1 This was to stop something with the voltage from happening.. The d-link cards are 3.3v and the orinoco driver likes 5v cards. Also, I had to use an older d-link card, the newer one would not work. Not sure why. Sound had to be done manually, here's my modules.conf entries for that alias sound cs4232 alias midi opl3 options opl3 io=0x388 options cs4232 io=0x530 irq=5 dma=1 dma2=0 mpuio=0x330 mpuirq=5 synthirq=-1 synthio=-1 sound works like a champ.. actually sounds better then the windows side. I haven't set up the modem, but I know that there are drivers for it. It's one of the few supported Winmodems from what I've read.
