Hey all, UNH has ACM meetings every once in a while that I attend for
excessive nerdery and free pizza. At this last one it was mentioned
that there was some interest in helping new users install Fedora...

My immediate thought is that it sounds like an 'InstallFest How-To' and
so I of course thought of the local LUG. Maybe someone out there
wouldn't mind doing a presentation on installation / howto perform some
common tasks?

Prof. Bartos has arranged that the CDs with the Fedora Core 3 distribution
of Linux are now available on 3-day reserve in the engineering library
(a single DVD version will be available soon). The idea is that students
interested in installing Linux can get the disks from the library to make
copies instead of downloading the 2+ gigabytes a Linux distribution takes
these days.

I would like to organize an ACM/UPE session about installing Linux. Is
there anyone out there who would volunteer to organize and run such
a session? As always, the department would provide the pizza....
