  Indeed, they do. I've got the inc/decrement, up, and top
bookmarklets in my bookmark toolbar.

  Similar to bookmarklets, but not needing any JavaScript-fu, are
"quick searches", which are driven by "browser keywords". For
example, I have this location bookmarked

          http://www.google.com/search?q=%s

with a keyword of "g". I can thus type

          g foo

into the "locaiton bar" to go a Google search. Some others I use all the time:

gg      http://www.google.com/groups?q=%s
gi      http://www.google.com/images?q=%s
gl      http://www.google.com/local?q=%s
gn      http://www.google.com/news?q=%s
wp      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%s
wps     http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Search?search=%s
mskb    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;%s
def     http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=%s
af      http://www.acronymfinder.com/af-query.asp?Acronym=%s

  You get the idea.  :)
