Well, I've never even heard of Clark Connect before, but Google found it fairly easily. From what I gather, it's a Yet Another Linux Distribution, with some semi-proprietary management tools sitting on top of it. Accurate?
Along with my devices and my roommates devices i have some other people ... i would like to separate my network from every body else's ...
The way I would do this would be to install another network interface in the Linux box, and set up routing and firewalling between your LAN, their LAN, and the Internet feed(s). On most Linux distributions, I could even tell you the commands and configuration needed to do that. I don't have any idea how you would do that with the Clark Connect stuff, and giving you generic Linux commands is likely to break their semi-proprietary management stuff. I'd check their documentation and see if it supports multiple interfaces. -- Ben _______________________________________________ gnhlug-discuss mailing list gnhlug-discuss@mail.gnhlug.org http://mail.gnhlug.org/mailman/listinfo/gnhlug-discuss/
