If you're going to go the route of partition table manipulation: If the Windows partition is first, you can just delete and re-create the partition table entry. The contents of the partition will be left unchanged. Not that that helps Kjel any. Another option would be to buy the updated version of PartitionMagic (or some other tool). Not a fun idea in my book, but sometimes worth it anyway.
