Hmmm, but he did imply that he was unable to foreground it. You
suppose it was just a brain fart, and the OP never actually tried the
"fg" command? Mr. OP, can you comment?
That's right - the subject line was the problem, the commands
included were things I tried to illuminate the problem.
As with Ben and Paul, I usually do this all the time without any
problem.
Sorry for the incorrect use of 'background' to mean 'suspend' - that
*was* a brain fart on my part.
