Probably not for a while, but I'm 100% certain, there will be a 128-bit address space computer somewhere down the line, but at the present time, 64-bit address space is more than sufficient for most of the biggest computers. It will be the governments that will want the 128-bit address space. On the other hand, I seriously doubt desktop computers will ever need anything near 64-bit addresses. -- Jerry Feldman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9
