=>Normally, I don't ever tell people if I know how when they need printer
=>help. It just makes them ask you more questions. But then again, maybe,
=>I'll get lucky...
=>
=>I am the proud owner of an HP Laserjet 1320. I downloaded the specific
=>driver for that printer and installed under cups. Now when I run the
=>lpoptions -l
=>command, I get the following output:

=>My understanding (and I could be wrong) is that I should be able to say
=>
=>lp -o Duplex filename
=>
=>and it should come out double sided.
=>
=>It does not and I have no idea what to do from here.
=>
=>BTW, we just installed a Konica-Minolta C353 superprinter and I followed
=>the exact same procedure and Duplex (and everything else) seems to work
=>just hunky-dory.
=>
=>If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be grateful.

I just have a couple of notes to add and if anyone has any comments I'm
happy to hear them:

I just went into the configuration section in cups and found a setting to
make duplex the default. Now duplex seems to be happy (which of course
makes both me and Al Gore happier).
