The Openmoko FreeRunner is being sold as a "developer" release at this point. People that expect a polished, complete distribution are going to be disappointed.
There are several stacks of software available for the phone, all of them able to be flashed into the phone, and there are some that are on their way. People comparing the software to the iPhone are, by this very definition, going to be disappointed.
