I have had good luck with Laptop Universe in Londonderry, NH: http://www.laptopuniverse.net/ They've fixed the fans in my ancient Dell laptop several times. Amusingly, my laptop is so old that one of the techs there called it "the turd" and he warned me that it might be too old to run Vista. I told him that I wasn't too worried about that...
