I susbscribe to gnhlug-org (and no other GNHLUG lists at the moment), so
I got Bruce's forward that way. You *could* get me to talk, but I missed
the earlier discussion about the "good idea" that led to my name coming
up. Nowadays, I mostly talk about XML, including appearances at XML 2000
and the last XML DevCon, but I could say something about Linux/Unix if
that's what you're looking for.

I'm affiliated with both Lotus and IBM Research, but almost everything
I do comes out through Apache or OASIS.

Specifically in a New Hampshire context, I would remind you all that the
Governor is now considering whom to appoint to the Public Utilities
Commission, and it would help the High-Tech Community if she appoints
(and the Executive Council approves) somebody who "gets it" about telecomm
and the Internet in the 21st Century. The law says that one of the
three commissioners should have an engineering background, which hasn't
really been the case for several years, at least. I could rant about that
subject, too. (If you want the job, contact the Governor's Office now!)

If you discuss organizational planning on gnhlug-org, I'll be in the
loop. Otherwise, contact me directly.
