Hello to all of those that have posted (actually hello to everyone).

I have returned from a much needed 5 day vacation so was not able to
respond or take part in the discussion in a timely manner.

To cut to the meat of the subject, Ben is correct in that at a late
beer drinking session after a MELBA meeting, the concensus of those
present was to let the NH non-profit lapse until possibly at a future
time or we felt the need, ie- the rebirth of the Linux Business Show
or after we had a real discussion on the merit of continuing along
the Non-profit path.

I am probably in the minority that think that it was a mistake to let
it lapse but the cost to do it again is not that great.

So officially at this point in time and history we are not even NH
listed non-profit corp entity of any type. We expird in June I
believe. Can we renew? I will have to find out if we have a majority
of Steering Committee votes for it.

The voting members of the Steering Committee are as chosen two years
ago at the original Steering Committee meeting.

If any of the LUGS have chosen new Chairmen, etc, then those should
be the new Steering Committee members per our agreement at the first
Steering Committee meeting.

Jerry Kubeck - Chairman GNHLUG, Chairman Monadlug
Charlie Farinella - Monadlug
Rich Payne - Monadlug
Paul Lussier - Chairman MELBA
Jeff Smith - Vice Chair GNHLUG, MELBA
Rob Lembree - MELBA
Mike Ledoux - (was SLUG) now ??
Rob Anderson - Chairman SLUGs
Bob Sparks - Chairman Centralug
Ed Lawson - Centralug
Bruce Dawson - Centralug

Though Ben Scott is not an official Steering Committee member, but a
very active member of the GNHLUG I do propose he be added as a voting
member. He has more than once offered to be part of the GHLUG web
efforts and someday will probably actually be a major part of the
Website development.

Lori Hitchcock has resigned from the SLUG Chair so her spot should be
given to Martha Jo Marthy who has stepped in to help Rob Anderson
with the SLUGs.

Our Keene Steering Committee members should be Derek Doucette and
whomever is this years Vice Chairman.

If the Northern NH groups want to participate, then they need to
select two or three from the group to be acknowledged as part of the
GNHLUG Steering Committee.

Jerry
