I'm hoping that SwANH sees the GNHLUG calendar system as the model they should emulate. Individual LUGmeisters should be able to send meeting announcements to SwANH for inclusion in their combined calendar. All the groups participating should be high-tech enough to be running their own mailing lists, so the people who want an announcement pushed at them should sign up for whatever [org]-announce lists they want. The on-line calendar(s) are for those who prefer to pull their meeting notices. After SwANH gets the combined calendar working, then I could see them making a once-a-week mailing containing announcements of all the technology meetings for the coming week, and that mailing would go to its own list of subscribers. .................David Marston [EMAIL PROTECTED]
