There is an issue with ALL oracle related applications and sidecer on unix/linux.
A coworker and I ported kclient/sidecar so our linux users could have the same support our mac and pc users have.
I was suprised to find out that Oracle doesn't export the port number along with the IP address, even though it should. The result is that the UID can't be resolved on a unix machine.
Does anyone on this list have any pull with Oracle I really would like to find a way to coerce them to fix this asap.
