I know you've got tons of suggestions for MajorDomo, a definitely nice
list server, but to toss in another idea, check out MailMan. MailMan is
Python based, and integrates web-based signup/administration, web-based
archiving, and traditional e-mail-based tasks into one package. MailMan
will integrate with sendmail, exim, and the usual MTAs. Definitely worth
looking at.
