I'm not quite sure what you're asking here.  Why would Linux need to support 
FC to work with a NetApp.  A NetApp is an NFS appliance, the Linux system 
would merely NFS mount the filesystems from the NetApp, and would be 
completely unaware of what low-level hw protocols were in use on the NFS 
server.
