A similar experience. Applix 4.42 gave the same (or at least similar
error), my StarOffice 5.1 opened it in a spread sheet with no word
wrapping making it pretty strange to read.
I think the gist of it was that they are offering the upgrade price,
($39.95) to everyone for some limited time.
