Yes. Several on the list, in fact.

Two second review: It stunk.
Longer review: The author gives the appear of not knowing what he is talking
about. At one memorable point, he actually says something like "I don't know
what this does, but everything stops working if you block it, so don't block
it". Not exactly what I want in a book about security. His firewall script
generator program is also rather baroque in its output scripts.
If you decide you still want the book, I'd be happy to give it to you for
free. I certainly have no other use for it -- unless I need to start a
campfire.
I would recommend "Building Linux and OpenBSD Firewalls", by Sonnenreich and
Yates, from Wiley Computer Publishing, ISBN 0-471-35366-3. It covers theory
and practice in a clear fashion, but is not afraid to go into technical detail
when needed. It is also an extremely entertaining read.
Also, many, myself included, consider "Building Internet Firewalls", from
O'Reilly and Associates, to be the firewall bible. It covers just about every
aspect of the theory you could desire, and includes some good examples as
well. On the other hand, it is getting a little dated (published in 1995),
and doesn't cover Linux at all. On the gripping hand, an updated edition is
due out next month (according to www.ora.com), and does cover Linux.
