Aie! The very controller. IIRC this became one of the first boards adaptec
put out using FD technology (they just changed the name) after they
bought 'em (merged?). Do the host BIOS offer any configuration options?
No? You have one of the crappiest host adapters I've ever used then. ;)

What SCSI id is the drive set to? I remember having to do horrbily
illogical things with IDs to get mine working. But I had two drives...

If this is an old 486 you'll probably have to disable the IDE interface
totally to boot from the SCSI drive. Might want to peek in your BIOS and
see if there's an option though. There shouldn't be anything to prevent
you from booting from the IDE and using the SCSI however.
