It doesn't even have to leave your machine to be noticeable. In DB_Maker, I
originally queried a radio button in the iteration procedure (Check_One) when
searching, and it could only check about 11 records/second with the program and
the browser running on the same machine. Searching 300 records for a value near
the end (or not in the list) took forever. Getting the value once outside the
procedure made the search as fast as expected.

(For those interested, this was the call to Or_Rad.Checked in Search_From, now
stored in Or_Checked.)
