Most of the distributions already package at-spi2 stuff, but for the current stable versions, AFAIK, on most of them the default one is still at-spi. A lot of distributions are now planning the next stable release, and deciding which one will be the default one. And I fear that in most cases it will be still at-spi. Anyway, to get more detailed information, I think that it would be required to dig the specific distribution mailing lists. > 2. > @Mike: what's the status of at-spi2 and orca? Well, I'm not Mike ;), but in my development environment I use at-spi2 and orca, although I don't use it as a user. Recently Mike and Joanmarie updated this page [1] with the status of at-spi2 and orca. You can take a look while you wait for Mike answer. > 3. > When i should install it on my current machine, which are the steps to > use or switch from corba version to dbus version (without uninstalling) > the corba version? Take a look to this link [2]. Is somewhat old but I hope to be enough updated.
