Hi. I am running gentoo and gnome 2.23.90 and just installed gnome-do 0.5.99.
For some reason I am unable to launch any applications using gnome-do. There was a problem about xdg-open not detecting being in a gnome environment that is related to gnome-session 2.23.90 not setting the GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSION_ID for which there is a patch that makes sure xdg-open works. I have applied this patch and now gnome-do opens folders in Nautilus (instead of firefox), but applications can still not be launched. If I type the name of the exec (i.e. epiphany) and select the "text" entry, I get a run action. But that is not what should be needed. Previous version (0.3 I think) of gnome-do allowed me to type the first (few) letter of epiphany and it would show me the icon and action to start the program. I guessing the .desktop files are not being handled correctly or something. Anyway, how can I go about finding what is the cause?
