While this may not be critical for this application, although I think
that's debatable, this would be a great addition to the api.  I can
imagine things like file operations (create archive, unarchive etc)
would benefit from being able to immediately see the new files.  I
noticed that notify-sharp is now a requirement but I still don't see
immediate updates to the file system being reflected.  Things like
downloading a file and then trying to do something to it with gnome-do
doesn't usually work.  But that's another issue besides this.
