Hi everyone,

I've been using Docky for the last few days on Intrepid and I think its
great, mainly because i think Do is really useful, and with docky you
get a cool dock as well.

That being said there are a few things that are keeping my gnome panels
sitting there taking up screen space.

First is the ability to dock gnome applets. Working on a laptop I'm
often in and out of wireless service so I'd like to be able to see the
networkmanager-applet, as well as the Empathy or pidgin applets. In the
last few days I've noticed that i miss the empathy icon jumping in docky
when it requests focus.

Second, although I no longer use my gnome-menus, I do need them
occasionally to find apps I don't usually use. One possible solution,
might be to enable the adding of screenlets to docky. This would enable
the docking of the menu screenlet as well as the other system monitors etc.

So i'm not a programmer, let alone a Net developer, so these might be
pie in the sky, but I think adding the ability to dock both screenlets
(or something comprable) as well as gnome-applets to Docky would greatly
add to its functionality.

thanks again for a great tool.
-Luke
