Hey everybody, I seems I sent this to the wrong Jason (not Jason Smith, the "brain" of the bunch) and he (Jason Jones) advised me to post it here. Just replace "you" with "the GNOME Do mailing list" in your head. Here goes:
Hello Jason(s), I just wanted to send you a short message thanking you for the great work you've done on Docky and pointing out a few things, I hope you won't mind. I've never liked docks, not on Macs or AWN but Docky is so stable and clean-cut I couldn't help liking it (especially when used with the GNOME Do). That being said I wouldn't mind a little more customization, in the latest version you e.g. don't have any power over the right part of the dock (except for the clock and trash). Also something like: - Adding better control for appearance? - Being able to add a separator. - Check out the AWN Terminal Applet in the AWN if you have time, you couldn't know how handy I think that applet is (being able to use something like it in Docky, i.e. a terminal that pops up when you click and and goes down when inactive, would be better than great) These are just ideas, and if you're busy just ignore them. I don't know how this works so I thought it would be better to tell you about this than not. Good luck with GNOME Do, and keep up the good work! Baldur P.s. If you ever need an artist or anything like that you should ask me, I'm rather good and I'd love to do my best to help your project. I've already translated some of GNOME Do into Icelandic. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GNOME Do" group.
