This is hilarious. I was just working on a new calculator plugin. I
found a simple library written in C# that would do the math parsing. I
had to modify it a bit because it was written for German WinXP which
uses "," instead of "." for decimal points, and there are some
mistakes in the regex phrases. You can get it here:

Im moving this week so I have been too busy to finish it, but it might
be a better solution than something that requires a dependency.
