I recently updated some programs and didn't notice right away that in the process Gnome Do was automatically removed. When trying to reinstall Gnome Do 8.1 in Ubuntu 8.10 via Synaptics Package Manager, I get the following message:
Could not mark all packages for installation or upgrade. The following packages have unresolvable dependencies. gnome-do: Depends: mono-runtime but it is not going to be installed Depends: libgconf2.0-cil but it is not going to be installed Depends: libgnome-keyring1.0-cil but it is not going to be installed Depends: libgnome2.0-cil but it is not going to be installed Depends: libmono-addins0.2-cil but it is not going to be installed Depends: libmono2.0-cil but it is not going to be installed Depends: libndesk-dbus-glib1.0-cil but it is not going to be installed Depends: libndesk-dbus1.0-cil but it is not going to be installed Depends: libnotify0.4-cil but it is not going to be installed Recommends: gnome-do-plugins but it is not going to be installed The problem seems to be that I now have newer versions of some of the dependencies and Gnome Do 8.1 is not compatible with the newer versions. Will Gnome Do be updated soon for Intrepid to fix this? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "GNOME Do" group.
