This might sound really smug, but have you set the permissions right? Eclipse is an executable app. When I start typing the executable shows up but it always selects the open action and not the run action. I remember this working a while ago. Another problem is with the tracker plugin: I type in a search term and the correct documents get listed. They are all pdfs. When selecting one and hitting enter nothing happens.
