AFAIK, for most Java apps, Do can not match it properly with the .desktop (if there is one) because Java apps don't expose their PID through the wnck library. So in this case Do will probably grab the icon from the window manager (and normally this icon is of low- quality).
It seems you don't have a .desktop file in the first place, so Do must have got the icon from WM, you may have to investigate how the window manager get the icon for your java app. However, I doubt that after you create the menu entry (.desktop file) Do can properly match the instance of the running app. Cheer, Peng On Jul 4, 5:56 am, Collin Peters <[email protected]> wrote: > Where does Gnome-Do grab icons for java apps from?
