I write a tiny plug-in to allow pass text to gcalctool, the GNOME Calculator, and get the result. I know there's a Google Calculator plugin, but I just want to have one without internet connection. I also see a Qalculator plugin, but I want one that do not have dependencies(if it's a gnome user, the probability to have gcalctool installed is really high).
