Oh! I have related question! :)

I use application. that  wasn't installed - it was cloned from git
repo, and I update it often. I made ~/bin directory and included it to
PATH. So now I can run apps and scripts from that directoty, but only
when I type whole their name.

How can I add such programs and scripts to DO index?
