For example, one of my frequent uses of Do is “select some text -> summon do -> selected text -> send to pastebin -> (returns URL item) -> copy to clipboard -> paste into IRC”. It might be nice to be able to encode that chain in some way.
Regardless, we probably want to look at how we're handling Actions that return Items.
