Right, although for your own sanity, you might want to put some page.stub files in git, to make it easier to look through the local pages. > > How do I setup a gnome-doc-utils/yelp-tools infrastructure? > > > > I've some experience with gnome-doc-utils setups, but I would prefer the > new way with yelp-tools. Use the same DOC_ID (gnome-doc-utils) or HELP_ID (yelp-tools) that the parent document uses. Just make sure you don't have any pages or other files that conflict with files from the parent document. > > > Of course, we have to make sure that the plugin manual has landed in the > > same installation folder as the gedit manual itself. > > > > > > How do I make sure this happens? > > Good question... Actually, plugin pages can go into different prefixes, as long as they're in the right place in the prefix. The main gedit help files can be in /usr/share/gnome/help/gedit and the plugin pages can be in ~/.local/share/gnome/help/gedit. Yelp will pick them all up, using XDG_DATA_HOME and XDG_DATA_DIRS. Just let the build tools do the work and don't worry about prefixes. -- Shaun _______________________________________________ gnome-doc-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-doc-list
