It is a public web service. Here is the documentation:

I think there is one bit missing (I'll have to check the code again),
but what is described there will almost definitely work in most cases.

I'm not sure how much load the current server can handle, but for now
there is still some capacity, it seems.

I'm not sure what kind of integration with Damned Lies you have in
mind. There is currently no efficient way to get matches for a whole
file, and that might be a bit expensive, but I guess we can look at
that in time as well.
